As today is the start of November I thought my positive change would be to sign up for Movember. For those that don’t know, Movember is a month in which men grow a mustache to raise money for prostate cancer and to raise awareness of men’s health.
The idea started in Australia a few years back. I lived there in 2006 and this was the first time I had ever heard of it. It has grown all around the world now and it is responsible for all those ridiculous mustaches that you see around in November.
In 2010, nearly 119,000 Canadian Mo Bros and Mo Sistas got on board, raising $22.3 million CAD.
