It’s a quickie – last night I won 6 free drinks tickets at an event and as you know, I have given up alcohol for a month. Now I could’ve sold those tickets and made a small amount of change, but I gave them away to various people, spreading the wealth. It still feels great not to drink.

Great! My pledge at the time was not to drink for a year. That is now more than two years ago. The thing is that after a year you do not go back to headaches and lost nights :D
